00:00Congratulations! What is it like to be a part of such a legendary franchise?
00:04It's crazy. It's definitely as cool as you think it is.
00:08I grew up watching the movies. They were a staple in my household, so this is kind of insane.
00:12It feels really cool to be cemented in history as part of this legacy,
00:16as part of this franchise. Yeah, I think I'll be riding this for a while.
00:20For sure, and working with people like Ralph Macchio and Jackie Chan.
00:24Talk to me about that. Oh my gosh, it's amazing. It's definitely a little intimidating
00:28at first. But they're both amazing guys. They show up
00:32to set so humble, so ready to work, so happy to be there. And they treat
00:36everybody so wonderful. Everybody's equal.
00:40That was really nice to see, because you don't always see that with legends like them.
00:44What kind of stunt work did you have to do or prepare for
00:48this movie? My character Mia doesn't do any physical fighting. She's more of an emotional
00:52fighter. She really wrangles these guys, keeps them in check.
00:56And she sort of brings an emotional presence in a world that's
01:00normally so dominated by physical action,
01:02which is a really fun character to play.
01:04And yeah, I loved it.
01:06Well, being around action stars
01:08like Jackie Chan, were you able to pick up
01:10on any stunt work
01:12or tips while on set?
01:14Yeah, I definitely was a little nosy. I was feeling
01:16a little left out of the fun,
01:18because Mia doesn't fight, so I was like,
01:20you know, I'm just gonna insert myself into a few training sessions.
01:24Um, because I just wanted to pick up a few things while I was there,
01:26you know? What'd you learn?
01:28A few punches, a few kicks, especially
01:30from Ben. He helped me out a little bit.
01:32I tested them out on him.
01:34I love that. And where do you think the franchise
01:36goes from here? Oh my gosh, there's like
01:38endless possibilities. I'm so excited to see what they
01:40want to do. Um, I'd love,
01:42selfishly, I'd love if Mia
01:44could get in on the action. You know, maybe
01:46she needs to learn how to fight for some reason.
01:48She wants to take up kung fu or karate or both.
01:50You know, let's get her in there.
01:52Or let's bring Hillary Swank in
01:54too, um, because she was the female
01:56karate kid, and
01:58we need to get her back. That's truly
02:00when all the legends are coming together. Yeah, exactly.
